Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital in California. The role combines CT and X-ray imaging, requires Siemens CT and Epic EMR experience, ARRT certification, an active radiologic license, and a current BLS/CPR certification.

You will work four 10-hour day shifts (Friday through Monday) performing radiographic and CT exams, preparing contrast, testing equipment, and ensuring patient safety. Local candidates with licensure are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• RT license in the state of practice required if applicable.
• Second modality certification preferred (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography).
• Three years of technical experience preferred.
• Ability to safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform both CT and X-ray modalities regularly in a critical access hospital setting.
• Utilize Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR for imaging and reporting.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Conduct radiographic and CT exams within competency in two modalities.
• Test defibrillator and inspect crash cart integrity.
• Perform mobile imaging and fluoroscopic studies as needed.
• Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.

• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in the state of practice (license required if applicable)
• Certification in a second advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred
• Three years of technical experience preferred
• Must be able to safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital setting within the Radiology - Diagnostic unit
• Must perform both CT and X-ray modalities regularly
• Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Performs radiographic and computed tomography exams consistent with experience and competency in two modalities
• Tests defibrillator and checks integrity of crash cart
• Performs mobile imaging examinations, including radiographic and fluoroscopic studies, as needed
• Safely prepares contrast agents for imaging procedures
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and local pay rates matching travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
