American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Critical Access Hospital setting in Minnesota. The ideal candidate has 1+ year CT experience and ARRT(CT) certification, with BLS required.

You will rotate 8-hour shifts across x-ray, CT and surgery, with 12-hour weekend shifts every third or fourth weekend. The role also involves CTA studies, trauma imaging, and collaboration using EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage across ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER and OR settings.

• Weekend 12-hour shifts every 3–4 weekends.
• Use EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS.
• May assist with radiology injections or biopsies.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Critical Access Hospital setting with 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT(CT) certification.

Requirements

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT(CT) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Strong CT skills required, with CT experience preferred over mammography experience
• X-ray and CT knowledge/skills required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Critical Access Hospital providing coverage across ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR settings
• Stroke-designated facility performing CTA studies and trauma imaging due to proximity to a major highway
• Nearby orthopedic clinic requires various joint imaging and procedures
• Rotating 8-hour shifts primarily between x-ray, CT, and surgery, with most shifts during days and afternoons
• Weekend shifts are 12 hours, typically scheduled every third or fourth weekend
• Uses EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
• Equipment includes Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
• May use C-arm in surgery for emergent cases
• Call required only if department is short-staffed, with overnight response expected in that case
• Floating to assist with radiology injections or biopsies may be required, with training provided
• No clinical involvement in this role
• Department can be busy and demanding due to high ER and clinic volume
• Success in this role benefits from strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and a helpful, eager attitude
• Radiology Director available during weekdays and reachable after hours for emergent needs
• One Radiology RN on staff Monday through Friday
• Approximately 1 week of department-specific orientation provided
• Will work holidays as needed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
• RTO must be requested upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission
