American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in North Carolina. Requires ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and musculoskeletal regions, as well as vascular studies and 3D rendering using Philips CT equipment. Exposure to contrast administration and isolation precautions is required.

Competenze

ARRT(CT) certification and BLS required.
Minimum 2 years of experience; 3 years preferred.
Epic experience strongly preferred for ER assignments.
Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, IV starts, venipuncture.
Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media.
Valid state or compact license if applicable.
Two professional references within past two years.

Mansioni

CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and vascular studies.
1:1 patient ratio in an acute care hospital setting.
3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, region of interest measurement.
Special procedures: aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage.
Covers shifts on a 3x12 hour night schedule; Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
Candidates will float within the hospital as needed.

Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media
Valid state or compact license required if applicable
Two professional references required, completed within the past two years by a supervisor

Responsibilities

CT Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting
Patient population includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, ICU, and emergency department patients
1:1 patient ratio
Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and drainage
Uses Philips CT equipment
Performs 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
Shift is 3x12 hour nights, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Candidates will float within the hospital as needed
First-time travelers will be considered
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel pay rate; local candidates may be accepted at a lower rate
Returning staff must have been away for at least one year and in good standing, and must not be local to reapply
COVID vaccination documentation required at time of submission, with exemption requests submitted within 72 hours of acceptance if applicable
RTO requests should be kept minimal and included at time of consideration
