Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift in Washington state. Applicants must hold ARRT CT certification and WA licensure where applicable, with at least 1 year of hospital CT experience and EPIC charting proficiency.

The role involves 4x10 evening shifts (Wed-Sat, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM), independent work after midnight, and potential to float within the hospital. EPIC EMR familiarity is required. Local travelers are welcomed at parity with non-locals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• WA Radiological Technologist Certification required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment and PACS.
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering techniques.
• Experience with CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest including vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• CT Tech department serving ED and inpatient populations with no scheduled outpatients during this shift.
• 4x10 evening shift schedule, Wednesday through Saturday, 1500-0130.
• Tech works independently after midnight.
• Potential to float within the hospital based on patient care needs.
• EPIC EMR used.
• First-time travelers will be considered with at least 1 year of hospital-based experience.
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as non-local travelers.
• Travel pairs accepted.
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment.
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours to complete.

• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Center settings preferred
