Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires CT radiography proficiency and travel readiness.

The position features a 12-hour shift pattern (Thu-Fri-Sat 8:00 AM–8:00 PM), with potential to pick up an extra 4-hour shift and possible on-call coverage. Housing and licensure reimbursements are included as travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years trauma and stroke case experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required.
• Current State/District license required if applicable.
• Must have an active license, no pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment with 12-hour shifts.
• Schedule of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Option to pick up an additional 4-hour shift on another mutually agreed day.
• Possible on-call coverage if a 2nd or 3rd shift tech is unavailable due to PTO or illness.
• 36 hours per week.
• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, analyzing body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position patients.
• Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, and management of contrast reactions and codes.
• Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position.
