Responsibilities

• Occasional varied shifts, evenings, nights, weekends; on-call may be required.
• Use Epic for charting and maintain imaging quality and safety.
• Collaborate with staff to provide high patient service.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a clinic setting, requiring ARRT certification in both Radiography and CT along with 2+ years of specialty experience.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Associate's degree in a related field required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
• State licensure required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT required, or 3 total travel assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths as needed

Responsibilities

• Clinic-based CT Body imaging unit
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week over 5 days
• 13-week assignment
• May be required to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
• On-call responsibilities may be required, including responding to an on-call pager
• Uses Epic for charting
• Flexibility to staff various work locations expected
• Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting facility imaging standards
• Demonstrates competence across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
• Practices proper safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication
• Provides high level of patient service through proper communication, technique, and safety practices
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
• Returning travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from initial start date, followed by a required break before starting a new assignment
