Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of CT experience and ARRT CT/R certification to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center.

Requirements include ARRT CT, ARRT (R), and BLS certifications; license if applicable. GE Revolution Scanner experience is highly preferred; IV Tera Recon/AW/Vision/i-STAT systems familiarity is valued. 3x12 hour day shifts, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with ~2 shifts of call per month.

Qualifications

• Experience with GE Revolution scanner preferred.
• Proficiency in CT post-processing and 3D rendering.
• CT studies across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck and spine requested.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT procedures in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Maintain patient care with 1:3 ratio for adults and pediatrics.
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts Tue-Thu 11:00 AM–11:00 PM.
• Occasional call of about 2 shifts per month.
• Utilize PACS, IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT CT/R certification to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• GE Revolution Scanner experience highly preferred
• Experience with IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems preferred
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/MSK, and vascular CT studies
• Proficient in starting peripheral IVs and preparing/administering contrast media
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU populations
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Call required approximately 2 shifts per month
• Uses GE Revolution Scanner, PACS, IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems
• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, vascular CTA, and radiation therapy planning
• Work within a Level II Trauma Center known for high patient volume
• No first-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
