Job summary

Leidos seeks a Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support FAA ESA projects across the eastern United States and Caribbean. 100% travel, on-site oversight, coordination with project engineers and government stakeholders, ensuring work aligns with plans, schedule and safety standards.

You will monitor construction activities, review RFIs and submittals, maintain daily reports, and support inspections, commissioning and closeout.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering with 4 years of construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specs, materials and codes.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, engineers and government stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite and review tools such as Bluebeam.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
• Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field contact coordinating with contractors and engineers.
• Monitor progress against schedules; communicate risks and deviations.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for input to engineering.
• Support inspections, commissioning and closeout; manage punch lists.
• Maintain daily reports and as-built docs; support safety and quality plans.
• Assist with design modifications and field-driven adjustments.
