Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant construction experience on commercial, industrial, or government facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specs, materials, and applicable codes/standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction document review tools (e.g., Bluebeam).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights/weekends, and travel extensively.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain a US passport.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field contact, coordinating with contractors, project engineers, and stakeholders to resolve field issues.
• Monitor construction progress against schedules, review contractor reports, and communicate status, risks, and deviations.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and work plans to inform engineering teams.
• Support inspections, commissioning, and closeout activities, including punch list tracking.
• Maintain daily reports and as-built documentation, supporting safety, sequencing, risk, and quality efforts.
• Assist with design modifications and field-driven adjustments; coordinate with engineering teams.
