Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support FAA ESA projects across the eastern US and Caribbean. You will provide on-site construction monitoring, coordination with project engineers, and QA to ensure work aligns with plans and regulatory requirements.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) with 4+ years in government or commercial facilities, strong coordination skills, and willingness to travel 100% (week-long assignments).

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) with 4+ years in construction of facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specs, materials, codes.
• Able to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction document review tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field lead: coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure contractor compliance with FAA ESH policies and contract requirements.
• Monitor progress, review reports, and communicate risks and deviations.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and work plans with engineering teams.
• Support inspections, commissioning, closeout, and punch item tracking.
