Job summary

Leidos in the United States is seeking a Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support FAA projects in the ESA region. You will provide on-site construction monitoring, coordination with contractors, and QA/QC to ensure plans meet specs and regulations.

The role requires 100% travel (weekends included) with assignments lasting several weeks to months; candidate must live in the eastern US. Travel expenses reimbursed per guidelines.

Qualifications

• BSCE (ABET) with 4 years of relevant construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specs, materials, and codes.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, project engineers, and stakeholders to resolve field issues.
• Monitor progress against schedules and report risks and deviations.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; support QA/QC and closeout.
• Maintain daily reports and as-built documentation; assist with design changes when needed.
