Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative in Thousand Oaks, CA to drive the sale of trauma products to surgeons and healthcare teams. You will act as the trauma expert, delivering training and guidance while managing product inventory and responding quickly to operating/ER needs.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of competitors, and adherence to compliance. It offers a commission-based structure with benefits and the chance to impact patient outcomes daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in MS Office and databases.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
• Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Willingness to participate in and attend meetings outside regular hours.
• Adheres to compliance and AdvaMed ethics and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Become the resident trauma expert and provide advice and training on products and tools.
• Organize materials and manage inventory to support rapid solutions in operating/ER settings.
• Build credibility by understanding competitors’ offerings and staying informed.
