Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative to engage with surgeons and healthcare teams in Rhode Island. The role focuses on selling Trauma products, becoming the resident expert, and delivering critical solutions in fast-paced operating room environments.

Candidates should bring a clinical or sales background, strong relationship skills, and comfort with on-call schedules including nights and weekends. The position offers commission-based compensation with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours.
• Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) including privacy, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Become resident trauma expert in interactions with a sophisticated audience.
• Manage materials and inventory with precision during operating room consultations.
• Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives.
