Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Process Improvement Program for its high-volume trauma department. This RN Program Manager will oversee trauma process improvement, ensure compliance with ACS standards, and support trauma verification efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Trauma registry course completion within 18 months of hire.
• Current membership in a national or regional trauma organization.
• 5 years of clinical experience required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Leads the trauma performance improvement and patient safety program (PIPS).
• Ensures all trauma center accreditation standards are met as required by state regulations.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary trauma meetings and aligns with Trauma PI plans.
• Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Provides educational opportunities for clinical staff development.
• Represents the trauma program on hospital, regional and state committees.
• Contributes to the Trauma Data Quality Plan and data collection processes.
• Analyzes data to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of trauma care.
