Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Trauma Performance Improvement RN Coordinator to lead the Trauma Program’s work on patient safety and quality from admission through discharge. You will collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director and Program Director to review cases, analyze performance, and drive measurable improvements aligned with ACS standards.

Qualifications

• RN with 5 years of ER and/or ICU experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead Trauma Program PI work to keep care safe and high quality from arrival to discharge.
• Review cases and analyze performance to drive improvements and adherence to ACS standards.
• Coordinate and document PI activities, events, data elements, and registry information.
• Prepare and present cases, trends, and quality findings for PI and trauma meetings.
