Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an RN Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to lead the Trauma Program’s quality initiatives from admission to discharge, partnering with the Trauma Medical Director and Program Director to review cases, analyze performance, and implement improvements that align with ACS standards and program requirements.

You will present findings at multidisciplinary PI, peer review, and trauma operations meetings, educate clinical teams and EMS agencies on PI

Qualifications

• RN with 5 years of ER and/or ICU experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS must be obtained within specified timelines.
• TNCC must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing trauma cases in real time and retrospectively for quality and timeliness.
• Identify and validate performance-improvement opportunities and system issues.
• Coordinate and document Trauma PIPS activities, PI events, data elements, and registry information.
