University Health is seeking a Senior Trauma Outcomes Coordinator with a nursing background and PI expertise to enhance trauma care across the continuum. You will collaborate with Trauma Services staff to drive continuous improvement from admission through discharge and follow-up.

The role requires strong clinical and analytic skills, experience with ACS Verified programs, and the ability to develop actionable reports based on data benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• 3+ years Trauma PI experience with ACS Verified program.
• RN licensed in Texas or reciprocity.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• TNCC Provider; PALS or ENPC for pediatric cases.
• TOPIC certification.
• TCAR or PCAR.
• Professional certification (CEN, CCRN, or TCRN) within 1 year.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist trauma quality program to promote optimal and efficient care across the continuum of trauma care.
• Maintain documented records of assigned trauma PI activities and trauma outcomes database security.
• Obtain and analyze information to develop or modify PI initiatives.
• Create customized reports based on analyses and disseminate findings.
• Use state and national benchmarks to determine trauma care standards.
• May serve as facilitator/leader of process improvement efforts.
• Provide training and supervision for new Trauma Outcomes Coordinators.
