TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee, seeks an RN Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator to lead and shape the trauma program’s work ensuring high-quality care from admission to discharge. You’ll review cases with the Trauma Medical Director, analyze system performance, and drive data-informed changes in alignment with ACS standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) within 6 months.
• Basic cardiac life support (BCLS) within 30 days.
• PALS within 6 months.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead Trauma PI program to maintain safe, high-quality care from admission to discharge.
• Review and analyze trauma cases real-time and retrospectively.
• Identify performance-improvement opportunities and support action plans.
• Coordinate and document PI events, data elements, and registry information.
• Present cases, trends, and findings to multidisciplinary meetings.
• Educate clinical teams and partners on trauma PI principles and guidelines.
