Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to lead the trauma program’s quality efforts from admission to discharge. You will partner with the Trauma Medical Director and PI team to review cases, analyze performance data, and drive improvements that uphold ACS standards.

You will coordinate PI events, document data elements, and present findings for multidisciplinary meetings, educating teams and facilities on PI principles and best practices to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensure in NV preferred.
• TNCC provider and instructor status required.
• 3 years in Level I/II trauma center; 5 years overall nursing experience.
• Experience in trauma program coordination and verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead trauma program work to ensure ACS-compliant, high-quality care from patient arrival to discharge.
• Review trauma cases in real time and retrospectively for timeliness and guideline adherence.
• Identify performance-improvement opportunities and support action plans with measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate Trauma PIPS activities, documentation, and registry data.
• Prepare and present trends and quality findings for PI and trauma meetings.
• Educate clinical teams and collaborating facilities on trauma PI principles and best practices.
