Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta seeks an RN Trauma PI Coordinator to lead the trauma program's performance improvement efforts from arrival to discharge. You will partner with the Trauma Medical Director to review cases, analyze system performance, and drive changes that raise care quality.

You will ensure ACS alignment and support trauma verification processes. You will educate teams, coordinate PI events, and present findings at multidisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• RN license and trauma experience preferred.
• Experience in ER and/or ICU is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PI concepts and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review trauma cases in real time and retrospectively for quality and timeliness.
• Identify opportunities and support action plans driving measurable improvements.
• Coordinate and document Trauma PIPS activities and registry data.
• Prepare and present trends and quality findings for teamwork meetings.
• Educate clinical teams and EMS on trauma PI principles and best practices.
• Collaborate on guideline development and verification preparation.
