Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Naperville, IL territory. The role focuses on developing surgeon and account relationships, driving product sales, and delivering strategic selling in orthopaedics and trauma solutions.

You will identify opportunities, craft plans with surgeons, and support OR teams with product demonstrations and education, while traveling as needed and collaborating across the Johnson & Johnson MedTech network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + minimum 3 years of professional and/or related experience
• Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 5 years of professional and/or related experience
• Minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience or recently transitioned from Active Military Duty + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and planning: identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts; develop and implement plans and selling strategies
• Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales goals/quotas through approved resources
• Product Sales: drive product sales for all assigned products within territory; present, demonstrate and ensure proper utilization
• Customer Relationships: gain access to right surgeons and buyer points; build relations with surgeons, OR personnel and hospital staff
• Case Coverage: maintain surgeon/resident contact; provide support during surgical cases
• Customer Care: improve patient care; provide timely follow-up and educate OR staff and central supply
• Inventory Management: maintain sales equipment and materials; comply with company policies
• Handles and prioritizes competitive threats; promote new products and strategic selling objectives
• Implements a plan to achieve a balanced product sales mix in territory
