Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Senior Sales Consultant to support surgeons in North Chicago, IL and nearby communities. You will drive product adoption, manage strategic accounts, and help deliver economic value to healthcare systems.

The role emphasizes relationship building with surgeons and OR staff, account planning, and executing territory sales plans across joint reconstruction, trauma, and sports medicine products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant healthcare sales experience.
• Experience selling into surgeons and hospital systems.
• Willingness to travel to assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Planning: Identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts.
• Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales goals/quotas through accurate use of approved resources
• Product Sales: Drive product sales for all assigned products within an assigned territory or set of named accounts.
• Customer Relationships: Build effective customer relations with key surgeons, operating room personnel and other pertinent hospital personnel
• Case Coverage: Maintain appropriate surgeon/resident contact with all prospects or newly converted customers.
• Customer Care: Provide timely follow-up and education to surgeons, OR and Central Supply Personnel.
• Inventory Management: Maintain sales equipment and promotional materials.
• Handles and prioritizes competitive threats as appropriate
• Promotes new or special emphasis products and strategic selling objectives
• Implements a plan to achieve a balanced product sales mix in assigned territory
