Job summary

Journey Health System is seeking a Professional Development Specialist to support trauma-informed practice implementation and staff development. You will train new staff, coach during on-the-job training, and assist leadership with morale, trainings, and meetings to improve performance.

You will lead needs assessments, create course content, design presentations, and help interview and onboard new employees for agency programs. Collaboration with management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing staff through training programs.
• Ability to create and deliver training content and presentations.
• Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and staff performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in monitoring staff morale and implementing trainings and meetings.
• Coach and develop new staff through on-the-job training during employment.
