Job summary

Magnificat Houses, Inc. seeks a Training & Resource Navigator to support the Permanent Supportive Housing program by strengthening staff capacity, assisting residents with resource navigation, and supporting PSH Case Managers in referrals and housing placement.

This role blends staff training, resource coordination, documentation, and direct resident engagement to promote housing stability and continuity of care in partnership with the PSH team and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in social work or related field.
• 2–4 years in social services, case management, or related work.
• Experience with homelessness, housing instability, or behavioral health is a plus.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and Housing First principles.
• Experience delivering training or developing educational materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate staff, volunteer, and resident leader training.
• Provide training on trauma-informed care, communication, conflict resolution, and safety.
• Support onboarding by coordinating required training and resources.
• Create materials, SOPs, and job aids to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Maintain training calendars, attendance, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and measure impact.
• Assist PSH Case Managers with referrals, documentation, and housing placement.
• Navigate and connect residents to community resources and services.
• Engage residents with a person-centered, strengths-based approach.
