Job summary

The Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Coordinator at Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. works with multiple teams to provide housing placement and stabilization for chronically homeless individuals.

Services focus on obtaining and stabilizing housing, improving health, and guiding recovery through RLRA-funded rent assistance. Responsibilities include outreach, intake, service planning, housing navigation, and collaboration with property managers and external

Qualifications

• Experience with housing stabilization
• Understanding of housing resources and programs
• Knowledge of recovery-based approaches to behavioral health
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks

Responsibilities

• Outreach and engage individuals referred to the program and complete screening and intake.
• Assess housing stabilization needs and develop client-led service plans.
• Assist participants through housing process including identifying housing, moving costs, and furnishings.
• Complete program paperwork to aid housing stability.
• Develop relationships with partners, providers, and property managers.
• Coordinate with other providers to address medical and behavioral health needs.
• Provide home and community-based services with Motivational Interviewing and Housing First principles.
