KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher to lead a trauma-informed classroom for students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs in Virginia. You will design individualized instruction aligned to each student’s IEP goals, integrating KEYS for a Big Life curriculum and Social Thinking into daily practice.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Virginia teaching license in Special Education.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities or related SPED endorsement, or willingness to pursue.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a structured, trauma-informed classroom aligned to Virginia SOLs and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied academic, behavioral, communication, and sensory needs.
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies (differentiation, scaffolding, social-emotional supports).
• Embed communication development and social-emotional learning in daily lessons.
• Design and deliver instruction using KEYS curriculum and Social Thinking framework.
