Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to collaborate with teachers to foster trauma-informed classrooms and support students at risk for emotional/behavioral disorders or substance use issues.

The role includes delivering trainings, facilitating school-family communication, supporting IEP processes, and coordinating with families to create individualized plans and crisis pathways within Centerstone's youth services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in one of the listed fields; license-eligibility preferred.
• Related field candidates must have 24 graduate hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or behavioral health coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face consultation with classroom teachers to create trauma-informed classrooms and effective behavior responses.
• Deliver at least one face-to-face training per year to LEA personnel on mental health topics.
• Assist in development of school-wide mental health initiatives and universal prevention strategies.
• Act as liaison between school and family to build home-school partnerships and assist with IEP processes when requested.
• Maintain logs and documentation to comply with grant and organizational requirements.
