Job summary

Centerstone seeks a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to consult with teachers and promote trauma‑informed environments. You will provide psycho-educational groups, support families, and assist with IEP processes to meet student needs in collaboration with school staff.

The role emphasizes evidence‑based approaches, coordination with mental health and substance use services, and engagement in preventive education for youth across multiple schools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or MH-related field.
• If degree is outside listed areas, must have 24 graduate‑level psychology/counseling coursework and relevant clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face consultation with teachers to create trauma‑informed classrooms.
• Deliver at least one in‑person training per year to LEA personnel.
• Assist in school‑wide mental health initiatives and prevention strategies.
• Liaise between school, family, and youth to support IEP processes and trauma‑informed plans.
• Navigate behavioral health systems and crisis services for school staff and students.
