Job summary

Centerstone in Nashville, TN seeks a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to provide face-to-face consultation with teachers, build trauma-informed classrooms, and support at-risk youth. The role includes training LEA personnel, coordinating IEP-related processes, and fostering home–school partnerships.

Responsibilities include developing trauma-informed plans with families, maintaining thorough documentation, and delivering psychoeducation groups to meet student needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field required.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline preferred.
• Clinical experience through internships or practicum required.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for organization vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face consultation with teachers to create trauma-informed classrooms.
• Deliver at least one training per year to LEA personnel on mental health topics.
• Develop school-wide mental health initiatives and preventive strategies.
• Serve as liaison between school, families, and students for IEP processes.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes as required for grants.
• Offer psychoeducation groups and individual or family support as needed.
