Job summary

Catholic Community Services in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lease-ups, recertifications, and building maintenance. You will supervise an operations team and coordinate with the Program Director to ensure residents are stably housed and compliant with funder requirements.

The role includes fiscal management, rent collection, and liaising with internal and community partners.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of on-site property management experience including supervising others.
• Experience or knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or homeless services.
• Knowledge and experience with crisis intervention.
• Commitment to harm reduction and housing first program model.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to commit to developing and safekeeping a workplace that values and supports a culturally diverse work environment.
• Criminal history background checks are required prior to employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler’s permit within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations team and provide leadership and mentoring.
• Oversee staff hiring, annual reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day supervision to maintenance and janitorial staff.
• Manage rent collection, budgets, and financial records.
• Collaborate with Program Director to ensure program goals and funder requirements are met.
• Respond to lease violations and ensure residents remain stably housed.
• Work in-person at the program and attend required agency meetings.
