Job summary

Catholic Community Services seeks a Property Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure housing stability for residents. The role includes lease management, financial oversight, and collaboration with on-site teams in a trauma-informed, housing-first environment.

Responsibilities cover supervision, compliance with funder requirements, and maintaining strong resident relations while coordinating with program leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of on-site property management experience including supervising others.
• Experience or knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or homeless services.
• Knowledge and experience with crisis intervention.
• Commitment to harm reduction and housing first program model.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to develop and safekeep a workplace that values and supports a culturally diverse work environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and related databases.
• Must have a reliable means of communication at all times to be reached.
• Ability to adapt and respond to different people and situations through a trauma informed lens.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations team (assistant property manager, maintenance manager, janitorial team).
• Provide supervision, leadership and mentoring.
• Oversee staff hiring, recognition, annual reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Nurture staff effectiveness through ongoing training, coaching and guidance.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day supervision to maintenance and janitorial staff.
• Complete and monitor office and maintenance checklists and schedules.
• Collaborate with Program Director to address lease violations.
• Work in-person at a program and attend required in-person agency meetings.
• Manage resident relations and respond to lease infractions with fairness.
