Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus seeks a Case Manager to provide dependency case management for families with verified abuse histories and open dependency cases. You will coordinate services/linkage/coordination of care for high-need youth in out-of-home care and engage kin to increase protective capacities for a stable home.

The role includes crisis management, court reporting, and in-person engagement with youth and families, with an on-call schedule for after-hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience equivalent to one year of full-time professional work providing child welfare services.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a drug screen and all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history.
• Coordinate care of high-need youth in out-of-home care and engage kin.
• Manage crisis, link youth/caregivers to service providers, write court reports, and testify in court.
• Engage in face-to-face work with youth and families in the community; on-call after hours.
