Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program in Memphis, TN, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to support dependent youth in out-of-home care. You will coordinate services, link families to providers, and engage kin to strengthen protective capacities, often spending time in the community.

Responsibilities include crisis management, court report writing, and giving testimony as needed. A valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safeguarding youth are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience equivalent to one year: child welfare services, social/psychological/counseling, or case management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide dependency case management services to high-need youth in out-of-home care.
• Manage crises and coordinate services; engage kin and fictive kin to increase protective capacities.
• Write court reports and testify in court; conduct face-to-face engagement with youth and families in the community.
