Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Case Manager to provide dependency case management for high-need youth in out-of-home care and to engage kin and fictive kin adults to increase protective capacities and stable homes.

The role involves crisis management, linking families to services, writing court reports, and occasional court testimony, with substantial face-to-face engagement in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience equivalent to one (1) year of full-time professional work providing child welfare services including social, psychological, or correctional counseling or case management.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a drug screen and all required background checks including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• As a Case Manager, you will provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history and an open dependency case.
• You will manage crisis, link youth/caregivers to service providers, write court reports, testify in court, and engage with youth/family face-to-face in the community.
