VisionQuest is seeking a Child-Care Worker to supervise children in residential settings and promote a safe, learning-focused environment. You will model trauma-informed care, supervise daily activities, and support education, meals, and recreation while maintaining records of progress and health.

The role requires 21+ age, background checks, TB test, and CPI/CPR certification. Evening and night shifts are available at the Morningstar Youth Academy locations.

Competenze

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clear TB test results.
• May be required to pass a drug test.
• Background checks including FBI and state checks.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certification required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct supervision of children in care and maintain line of sight at all times.
• Oversee recreation, meals, and activities to foster safety and engagement.
• Build positive rapport and model trauma informed care for youth.
• Instruct daily living skills and oversee routines morning, night, and overnight.
• Administer medications as directed and document progress and health notes.
• Assist with planning events, educational activities, and transportation needs.
• Document behavior and progress and report concerns per policies.
• Assist in emergencies and participate in safety drills and CPI training.
