Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid FL Driver's License with driving experience and clean MVR.
• Commitment to trauma-informed care and self-care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth aged 10–17 in a residential program.
• Use Youth Development System to identify development areas.
• Provide direct supervision with bed checks every 10 minutes and supervise school transportation.
• Report unusual behavior and apply Crisis Intervention techniques.
• Perform chores and assist with residential duties.
• Drive to school on first day, then accompany to bus stops.
• Maintain order, assign consequences, and manage discipline.
• Foster a safe, welcoming environment for youth, families, colleagues.
• Follow trauma-informed approach in all interactions.
• Lead group discussions and plan developmentally aligned activities.
• Complete monitoring notes, incident reports, and client records.
• Handle intake clerical tasks for new residents.
