Job summary

VisionQuest is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee residential services for children in care. You will lead youth care workers, coordinate daily operations, ensure safety, and manage scheduling and documentation to meet licensing standards.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed leadership, staff development, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team. Strong commitment to client well-being and program quality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in child welfare or related supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee youth care workers and daily shift operations.
• Ensure safety, documentation, and adherence to policies.
• Coordinate schedules, training, and staff development.
• Conduct bed movements and coordinate housing needs for residents.
• Assist with emergency procedures and crisis response.
