Job summary

International Council for Refugees and Immigrants in Omaha, NE seeks a VOCA Case Manager to provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered case management for refugees, immigrants, and other vulnerable populations. You will coordinate safety planning, advocacy, crisis intervention, and connection to legal, housing, and mental health services, while ensuring compliance with VOCA guidelines and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1–2 years of case management or victim services experience.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural and linguistic populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered case management and crisis intervention.
• Advocate for clients within legal, healthcare, housing, and social service systems.
• Coordinate referrals for mental health, shelter, housing, and financial support.
• Maintain confidential case notes compliant with VOCA and agency standards.
• Engage with community partners and conduct outreach to immigrant/refugee communities.
