Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative in California to partner with surgeons and healthcare professionals. You will be the resident trauma expert, organizing materials and solutions during operating room consultations, and you will be responsible for driving sales of trauma products while maintaining inventory and delivering life-saving guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required.
• Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable laws and Company’s policies.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to meet customers’ needs and act as the trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Manage inventory and provide quick, accurate information during operating room consultations.
• Offer training and advice on products and tools used to save lives and improve patient outcomes.
• Represent the mission of changing lives by delivering results in a fast-paced trauma environment.
