Smith+ Nephew is seeking an Associate Sales Representative – Trauma for the South Denver, CO area. You will support the Trauma Sales team with installations, troubleshooting and maintenance, and demo inventory setup, while training hospital staff on product use.
The role covers travel within the territory, with 2–4 overnight stays monthly and occasional national travel for events. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of sales experience are required; healthcare experience is a plus.

As a Trauma Associate Sales Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Trauma Sales team within an assigned territory with installations, troubleshooting and maintenance, demo inventory setup, and customer in‑service. Other responsibilities may include transporting customer inventory between accounts, covering surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts, studying technical information and surgical procedures in the Trauma Orthopaedics product portfolio, and supporting the Sales Representative to generate revenue and meet or exceed the territory’s quota. The territory you will support will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.
Travel Requirements: within designated sales territory with 2–4 overnight stays per month; infrequent national travel for events and conferences. All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID‑19 vaccine management.
The foundation of your success relies on your technical expertise in the Trauma Orthopaedics portfolio as well as your ability to build positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel while assisting and training them on the proper use and care of product equipment.
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $60,000 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications.
