Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring a Transportation Supervisor for our Arlington, TX presort facility. The role oversees transportation personnel, vendors, and DOT compliance to ensure reliable delivery and service levels.

The position requires managing staffing, training, and performance to meet contractual and safety standards. The job emphasizes collaboration with operations to maintain mail flow, adherence to US DOT guidelines, and delivering high-quality service with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Two years transportation/fleet experience including customer processing, route delivery procedures and basic security and operational procedures.
• Two years management experience including employee relations, performance management, hiring, training and coaching.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, subordinates and different levels within the organization in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to coordinate and manage DOT compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and to make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign responsibilities to transportation personnel and routes.
• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery/pick-up of service requests for customers.
• Manage site transportation vendors and DOT compliance.
• Maintain DOT files and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with production to ensure on-time dispatch of mail and reporting of issues.
