Pitney Bowes is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for our Arlington, TX presort facility. The role involves supervising transportation personnel, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing vendor relationships.

The position operates on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with a base salary range of $65,000–$70,000 plus a 6% field bonus, and no fixed vacation allotment. Responsibilities include DOT compliance, HR tasks, safety procedures, and collaboration with the Logistics Manager and Operations teams to

Qualifications

• Two years transportation/fleet experience, including route delivery.
• Two years of management experience, including hiring and coaching.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to coordinate and manage DOT compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and assign responsibilities to transportation personnel, including route delivery.
• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery/pick-up of service requests.
• Manage site transportation vendors and vendor contacts.
• Ensure drivers are DOT compliant and maintain DOT files.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service while meeting labor goals.
• Oversee HR tasks: new hire orientation, performance appraisals, coaching, and terminations.
• Coordinate with service providers to meet contractual performance benchmarks.
• Enforce safety and security processes and company policies.
• Communicate accidents or delays to regional and operations teams.
• Coordinate with production to ensure timeliness of mail dispatch and task completion.
• Inspect vehicles per pre-trip guidelines and report defects.
• Ensure USPS equipment is used only for Live mail movements.
• Return damaged mail following internal procedures.
• Utilize required cell phone applications.
