Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Transportation Supervisor for our Arlington, TX presort facility. Base salary range is $65,000–$70,000 annually plus a 6% field bonus. The role offers a flexible vacation policy and a 1st shift from Mon-Fri, 8:00 PM–5:00 PM with flexibility for business needs.

You will supervise transportation personnel, manage vendors, ensure DOT compliance, and coordinate with production to dispatch mail on time, while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Two years transportation/fleet experience.
• Two years of management experience.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to coordinate DOT compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English (read and speak).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign transportation personnel including route delivery.
• Ensure prompt and accurate delivery/pick-up of service requests.
• Manage site transportation vendors including sourcing vendor contacts.
• Ensure all drivers are compliant with DOT regulations and maintain DOT files.
• Maintain DOT files and ensure safety and security processes.
• Coordinate with Regional Logistics Manager and Operations team regarding incidents.
• Coordinate with production to ensure timely mail dispatch.
• Inspect assigned vehicle per pre-trip inspection guidelines and report defects.
• Ensure USPS equipment is used only for the movement of "Live" mail.
• Return damaged or undeliverable mail following procedures.
• Use all required cell phone applications.
