Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned transportation leader to guide a team responsible for inbound/outbound logistics and 3PL partnerships. You will drive cost-to-serve analytics, routing optimization, and carrier strategy while collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Sales to align on strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes translating complex transport analytics into actionable insights for executive leadership and ensuring feasible customer solutions within warehousing capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including regression modeling and optimization.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the team.
• Design and maintain customer solutions delivering mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analysis to support decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular strategic calls and reviews.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer contracts.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities with standardized processes.
• Build relationships across Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales and Operations.
