Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced transportation leader to guide a team focused on optimizing inbound and outbound lanes, cost-to-serve analysis, and fleet strategy. You will partner with 3PL, Sales, and Finance to drive enterprise-wide transformation and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including regression and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives overseeing daily operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and 3PL service optimization.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the transportation network.
• Design and maintain customer solutions with measurable mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analyses for strategic decisions.
• Support Account Management in strategy and performance reviews.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and assist in customer contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and carriers.
• Translate analytics outputs into clear insights for executives and non-technical audiences.
