Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a data-driven transportation solutions professional to analyze complex information and design innovative LTL workflows.

This role supports Operations, Sales and customers, leading onboarding for new business and coordinating with stakeholders to meet timelines. You will document customer requirements, participate in strategic initiatives, and mentor teammates while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years' experience in transportation, business, sales, or operations.
• Experience in the LTL industry preferred
• Must possess advanced analytical skills, be able to perform risk-analysis, with the ability to make decisions
• Solutions-oriented with advanced project management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into quality solutions
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various levels of internal and external customers
• Self-motivated, assertive and persistent, with the ability to complete projects and assignments on time
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to various levels of internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate in a highly-flexible work environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data to design, develop and implement innovative transportation solutions
• Lead onboarding of new and incremental business, ensuring deadlines and customer support
• Lead meetings to assess customer needs and communicate with stakeholders
• Document and communicate customer requirements to all stakeholders
• Participate in and/or lead strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Manage and track progress on projects to meet deadlines
• Design strategic solutions with stakeholders and guide others to completion
• Develop and sustain internal processes through initiatives
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies
