Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years in transportation/logistics or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety to minimize turnover and maximize productivity
• Fill in for absent personnel and work on projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability
• Train and orient drivers and staff on internal and customer systems
• Analyze fleet operations and profitability and present reporting and financial analysis
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment
• Handle payroll, driver counseling, invoicing, and other admin duties
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure safe, timely preventive services
• Resolve service issues with drivers/customers throughout the day
• Promote safety culture and ensure DOT compliance
• Assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight and adjust ETAs as needed
