Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers and company equipment.

You will ensure transportation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate pickups and deliveries, monitor driver performance, manage attendance, and support capacity planning with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or related field.
• 3+ years of related supervisory experience in transportation or logistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and TMS tools such as TMW or McLeod.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Class A CDL drivers, including attendance and equipment assignments.
• Monitor DOT, FMCSA, OSHA requirements and safety procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coaching and development of drivers; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Track performance metrics (on-time pickup/delivery, asset utilization, deadlines).
• Collaborate with engineering to address capacity planning and service issues.
• Maintain transportation records and generate reports using TMS and SSRS tools.
