Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. seeks a Transportation Specialist to oversee day-to-day activities of Class A CDL drivers and manage company equipment.

The role ensures safe, efficient transportation operations in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating pickups, monitoring performance, maintaining TMS records, and collaborating with engineering on capacity planning and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of related supervisory experience is required.
• Transportation or logistics industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers, including attendance, equipment assignments, route status, and timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Hours of Service requirements, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures.
• Track driver performance for on‑time service, compliance, and route adherence; manage attendance and coaching as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in Transportation Management Systems and related reporting tools (TMS, SSRS, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineering to address capacity needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal leadership; support capacity planning and service commitments.
