Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers and company equipment.

This role ensures transportation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate pickups/deliveries, monitor performance, manage attendance, and communicate with drivers, customers, and leadership to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers, including attendance, equipment assignments, route status, and coordination of timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Hours of Service, OSHA, and safety procedures.
• Track performance indicators such as on-time service, asset utilization, and other KPIs.
• Work with drivers and engineering to address capacity and service planning.
• Coach and manage driver performance and attendance per policy.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and leadership about inquiries and issues.
• Maintain transportation records and submit documentation on time.
• Utilize TMS platforms and SSRS for reporting.
• Focus on cost efficiency, fuel conservation, and environmental stewardship.
• Lead and develop team through coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with ISO-related standards and company processes.
